1. PROJECT REDESIGN
Designing (or re-designing) a project plan at early concept stage to ensure not only that there are participatory processes included in the project plan, but that the project takes on a participatory mindset to the entire development objectives of the project.
The method is guided by principle, but its application is driven by outcome.
2. STRATEGIC SOUNDING BOARD
High-level discussions to assist senior management in understanding the applications, potential, and possible implications of the use of human-centred design & innovation frameworks for WB/ADB -funded development work (or that financed by other development funders).
3. FIELD CONSULTANTS
Working alongside your project team, thus also taking advantage of in-project learning in human-centred design research. Human insights gained from stakeholders on the ground are translated into prototypes for testing in contained risk, with real users.
The depth of context informs robust framing of the problem - in ways that surveys and quantitative research can’t.
4. CAPACITY BUILDING
Training local stakeholders in participatory development methods. This involves training for self-sufficiency in system implementation and operational maintenance, among beneficiaries and other local stakeholders as appropriate.
May also be conducted as “guided consulting”, using a real problem faced by the client team, including prototyping on actual solutions for actual problem.
